A World full of Freedom – Part 1


One day after school, my annoying younger brother Jack and I were hungry, so we went to a food store and ate some snacks.  Jack ordered a hamburger, and I chose a French Fries.  While we were enjoying our delicious food, Jack suddenly stood up and ran away.  I thought that he was crazy, but in order not to be blamed by mom for not taking good care of him, I had to chase him and bring him back home. Poor Melody and a Lucky Rabbit


On a sunny day, Melody went to school. On the way, she passed through a park and saw a baby rabbit lying beside a rubbish bin. Its ears were tied with a thick rubber band. Melody took pity of the rabbit, so she immediately removed the rubber band carefully. Melody named it Rachel.

Melody carried the rabbit to the supermarket and bought some carrots for Rachel. After that, they went back to the park. While Rachel was eating her yummy carrot, Melody noticed that there was too little time for her to go to school.   At last, Melody decided to bring Rachel back to school. When Melody arrived at the school, the strict principal stopped her and asked angrily, “Girl, why are you so late? And why is your schoolbag moving?” Melody said with a frightened voice, “Sorry, I’m late. I’ve just helped an injured rabbit and it’s now inside my schoolbag.”

     The principal said, “Good girl, I’m proud of you. Hm...but to be fair, I must punish you for being late. No recess for one week!” Melody cried, “Oh no…”
