A World full of Freedom - Part 3

“Hi, Mum,” I answered the phone in surprise.

“Where are you, Amy? Come back and eat dinner,” said Mum angrily. I wanted to find the door back to my world, but I could find it nowhere. I tried to ask some people in the street, unluckily, all of them didn’t understand what I said.

Suddenly, a tall, thin man came and told us in a low voice that he knew where the door was. We followed him without hesitation.  He then led us to a quiet place.

All of a sudden, the man shouted loudly, “Action!” Immediately, many other men jumped out and roared together, “Buddy, go go go, catch the kids.” Four strong and hairy men surrounded us and grabbed our belongings. They caught us and locked us up in a dirty small room.

I was scared and kept shouting helplessly but the crazy Jack was calm and sat down on the floor. “Sh…I heard some strange noise, and I saw a lady flying in the sky,” Jack whispered.

“Don’t be silly. I can neither see nor hear anything. Quick, let’s think about how to leave here,” I cried anxiously. Jack didn’t say a word and just looking up at the ceiling. I thought he was daydreaming.

A World full of Freedom - Part 2

“Sister, I saw an old and big door which led us to another world.” Jack told me in a strange voice.

“Jack, don’t be silly! I can’t see any door around here. Maybe you watched too many cartoons. Stop imagining those weird things and go home now.” I said impatiently.

Jack didn’t listen to me and he kept walking straight ahead to the door he could see. I unwillingly followed him and unexpectedly, I really saw the door. It looked worn and dirty. I felt disgusted and wanted to leave at once. As soon as I called Jack to return, he already opened the door and went in.

I entered and discovered a fantastic world. I saw many people enjoying themselves in different ways. The adults were watching their smartphones and listening to music. The teenagers were dancing and singing while the children were playing computer games. I admired them because they could do whatever they liked.

Suddenly my phone rang and it was mom…
