Three Strange Pearls - Part 1

Three hundred years ago, there lived an alien in Mars called Crazy.  He had a big, green and sticky head, and three evil eyes. One day, he asked his elder brother to go to the Cyber Park with him. They drove their spaceship at high speed. While they were singing in the spaceship, another spaceship was approaching them. Unfortunately, both space crafts crashed against each other hard.

Three days later, Crazy’s spaceship fell down on the Earth. When Crazy woke up, he saw his brother die. He felt sad and cried out loudly to express his emotion. Suddenly a woman came and saw Crazy, she was shocked because she thought he was a monster. She shouted crazily…

Computer is Bad for Us

In our daily life, computer plays an important role.  However, some people think it is bad for us.  Is it really so? 

Some parents and teachers say that computer is bad for us because many students spend a lot of time playing computer games every day.  So, we will easily get addicted to it.

In my opinion, I disagree with them.  First of all, computer can help students to do and check their homework conveniently.  We can do online homework like Planetii.  We can also collect information for school projects.  

Moreover, computer helps us to build better relationship with others.  For example, we can send emails to communicate with our friends and relatives. Also, we can know the updated information of our friends through Facebook.

Last but not least, computer helps us to relax. There are many ways we can enjoy ourselves with computer. We can watch some good films online. We can play online games for leisure after studying for a long time.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that computers do more good than harm to students. Both parents and teachers should show more support to us for using computers. As for students, we should balance the time between studying and relaxing with computer.  

A World Full of Freedom - The End

In the evening, I felt very tired because I had been shouting all day. Suddenly, Jack stood up and mumbled, “She’s coming to save us.” I was annoyed because he repeated the same words over and over again.

I looked around the room helplessly.  Unfortunately, I heard something which scared me.  “The kids look delicious! Let’s eat them tonight,” one of the men said.  Hearing that, I was worried that I could never go back home. I cried out loudly.

At midnight, I couldn’t sleep and I was rolling around on the floor, but Jack was sleeping soundly.

Suddenly, a wind was blowing hard and a pretty lady appeared in front of us.  She was dressed like a heroine, with pink hair and a pair of big, hairy wings. I was extremely frightened and screamed immediately, “Jack, wake up! A ghost is coming to eat us! Help! Don’t sleep!” 

“Don’t worry. She is coming to save us,” Jack replied sleepily.

Unfortunately, many tall, thin men armed with sharp knives came and shouted, “Eat them!”

Finally, the lady fought with the men and won.  She carried us on her back and flew to our home quickly.  We thanked her sincerely and told our story to mum, but she did not believe it.  However, we have an exciting adventure!

A World full of Freedom - Part 3

“Hi, Mum,” I answered the phone in surprise.

“Where are you, Amy? Come back and eat dinner,” said Mum angrily. I wanted to find the door back to my world, but I could find it nowhere. I tried to ask some people in the street, unluckily, all of them didn’t understand what I said.

Suddenly, a tall, thin man came and told us in a low voice that he knew where the door was. We followed him without hesitation.  He then led us to a quiet place.

All of a sudden, the man shouted loudly, “Action!” Immediately, many other men jumped out and roared together, “Buddy, go go go, catch the kids.” Four strong and hairy men surrounded us and grabbed our belongings. They caught us and locked us up in a dirty small room.

I was scared and kept shouting helplessly but the crazy Jack was calm and sat down on the floor. “Sh…I heard some strange noise, and I saw a lady flying in the sky,” Jack whispered.

“Don’t be silly. I can neither see nor hear anything. Quick, let’s think about how to leave here,” I cried anxiously. Jack didn’t say a word and just looking up at the ceiling. I thought he was daydreaming.

“Sister, I saw an old and big door which led us to another world.” Jack told me in a strange voice.

“Jack, don’t be silly! I can’t see any door around here. Maybe you watched too many cartoons. Stop imagining those weird things and go home now.” I said impatiently.

Jack didn’t listen to me and he kept walking straight ahead to the door he could see. I unwillingly followed him and unexpectedly, I really saw the door. It looked worn and dirty. I felt disgusted and wanted to leave at once. As soon as I called Jack to return, he already opened the door and went in.

I entered and discovered a fantastic world. I saw many people enjoying themselves in different ways. The adults were watching their smartphones and listening to music. The teenagers were dancing and singing while the children were playing computer games. I admired them because they could do whatever they liked.

One day after school, my annoying younger brother Jack and I were hungry, so we went to a food store and ate some snacks.  Jack ordered a hamburger, and I chose a French Fries.  While we were enjoying our delicious food, Jack suddenly stood up and ran away.  I thought that he was crazy, but in order not to be blamed by mom for not taking good care of him, I had to chase him and bring him back home. I ran as fast as I could, and kept asking him to stop. After a while, Jack stopped and looked at me…

Poor Melody and a Lucky Rabbit

On a sunny day, Melody went to school. On the way, she passed through a park and saw a baby rabbit lying beside a rubbish bin. Its ears were tied with a thick rubber band. Melody took pity of the rabbit, so she immediately removed the rubber band carefully. Melody named it Rachel.

Melody carried the rabbit to the supermarket and bought some carrots for Rachel. After that, they went back to the park. While Rachel was eating her yummy carrot, Melody noticed that there was too little time for her to go to school.   At last, Melody decided to bring Rachel back to school. When Melody arrived at the school, the strict principal stopped her and asked angrily, “Girl, why are you so late? And why is your schoolbag moving?” Melody said with a frightened voice, “Sorry, I’m late. I’ve just helped an injured rabbit and it’s now inside my schoolbag.”

     The principal said, “Good girl, I’m proud of you. Hm...but to be fair, I must punish you for being late. No recess for one week!” Melody cried, “Oh no…”
