Little Penguin Peter's Journey - Part 1

      Once upon a time, there was a penguin called Peter who was very different from other penguins because he was weak and feared coldness.  He wore a thick jacket all the time and was always laughed by his friends.

      One day, he decided to find a witch to help him solve the problem. However, the witch lived high up on the mountain. He set off in the morning and kept climbing up.  After a few hours, he started to feel tired and hungry. So, he stopped to take a break and eat some snacks. Soon, he continued his journey with strong determination.

      Time past and the evening came! The temperature dropped fast and he was freezing and felt the chill down his spine.  He held his jacket tightly and fought with the chill.

John and a Mysterious Tiger - The End

      That night, while John was sleeping soundly, Mr. Perfect suddenly shouted to wake him up.

      “Be quick and hide inside this wooden box. A big group of wild and strong hyenas were going to attack you. We have to fight with them and may not be able to protect you. They are the new breed of hyena which are very powerful,” roared Mr. Perfectly nervously.

      Hearing that, John was not scared at all but he learnt to obey commands. So he jumped inside the box and kept quiet.

      After a short while, he heard some loud bangs and a few miserable howls of the two tigers. John was shocked and jumped out of the box at once.  He was overwhelmed to see that his two beloved friends were dead, lying on the ground with blood coming out of their mouth. At the same time, he saw some men pointing the guns at the tigers, making sure they weren’t alive.

      “Stop killing my friends,” John shouted at the men and at the same time rushed to the two tigers and shook them, “Wake up my dear tigers.  Don’t leave me alone! I need your protection. Boo-hoo…” cried John irrationally.

      Finally, John realized that it was his naughtiness which caused the death to his friends. After this incident, John became an obedient student and got the best student award in the school in the same year.

John and a Mysterious Tiger - Part 3

      “I don’t trust you because you’re a tiger. All tigers are cunning so you'll eat me sooner or later,” he replied nervously while retreating backward because of his fear of the tiger.

      Suddenly, a fierce bear was behind the tree and was going to attack him. The bear couldn’t see the tiger because it was blocked by John’s body.

      At that moment, the tiger reacted swiftly.  He roared loudly and was going to throw himself on the bear. However, John thought the tiger was going to attack him.

      “You’re a liar…you said you would protect me instead of eating me,” yelled John.  Just the moment he turned back to escape, he saw the big bear fleeing away from the tiger. 

  

      John was scared and remained stiff for a few seconds. He then came to his sense that the tiger was a reliable and kind-hearted friend.

   They became good friends and lived together for a few days.  Mr. Perfect finally accepted John because he saw the good nature of John. The three friends developed a close relationship with one another.

John and a Mysterious Tiger - Part 2

      Then, he fainted.  When he was conscious, he found he was lying in a mysterious place which was like a wood. He was sleeping on a muddy ground and was surrounded by trees.  He woke up and saw the fierce tiger in front of him, but it was not the one which attacked him.

      Suddenly, the fierce tiger said to John, “Hey, you’ve woken up finally. I’ve been waiting for you for hours. Are you hurt?”

      At first, John was scared to death. But hearing the words showing concern, he was calmed down a bit and replied, “Who are you? How come you can talk like a human? Where am I? What’re you going to do on me?”

      The tiger said friendly, “Don’t worry. I won’t eat you. I’m here to protect you because another tiger wants to kill and swallow you.”

     John was curious and asked, “Oh, why does he want to kill me?”

      The tiger continued, “Because you’re a bad student and my friend, Mr. Perfect wants to discipline all the bad kids and removes them from the world.”

      Hearing that, John was shocked, “Oh my God! Thank you very much for your protection, but why do you protect me?”

      The tiger answered, “Boy, I’m the angel of peace and I understand you have a good nature and will become a good boy one day!”

John and a Mysterious Tiger - Part One

      John was a secondary three student, studying in a prestigious school. Yet, he was badly-behaved and had a poor learning attitude. One day, his mom brought him to a zoo. He went to the tiger zone in order to watch the tigers. He saw a fierce, big tiger staring at him. He fixed his eyes on the tiger.  Suddenly, a mischievous idea came to his mind and he climbed into the cage. Though there were several tigers inside, he was not afraid at all. The moment when the tiger was walking slowly towards him, another tiger which was even stronger rushed to him and pressed him to the ground violently.  John was terribly scared and the only thing he could do is to close his eyes and wait to die. Soon, he heard the tiger roar loudly.
